Sunday night, Christian turns the projector toward his own practice.

Since 2023, he has hosted Screening Salons in apartments in Berlin and elsewhere, moving cinema out of the theater and back into smaller, stranger, more intimate spaces.

His program of 16mm portrait films explores presence, privacy, friendship, distance, and what Christian calls “Medium Intimacy”—the kind of attention that becomes possible when a small group of people gathers around projected light.
