Returning to his adopted hometown, Sharrif Simmons brings his Homecoming to East Village Arts for an intimate evening of poetry and music. Invited poets will join Simmons throughout the evening before he takes the stage for an acoustic set with a DJ, blending spoken word, music and storytelling—the mix that has defined his work for more than three decades.
